I picked up a new beater for my drummond island trip in a few weeks. I’ve spent $400 on dumber things, I figured I couldn’t beat it for the price. Came with $5k of maintenance receipts, and does awesome burnouts. It’ll get a front recovery point, welded spiders in the rear, and maybe some plating around one of the leaf spring mounts.

Well update....After a lot of thinking and looking, I'm pretty sure I'm going to end up with a SXS. I'd rather spend $15k on something I can use right away than I would throw $15k cash at something that will be another project. That being said, I'm on the lookout for a rzr 1000 or a turbo rzr

Doubt you are interested, but I plan on selling my 14 maverick xrs soon. It has a lot of nice mods (can list if interested) and low miles (under 2000). I impressive thing about it is the condition and excellent (tasteful) mods added...

Kids. LOL

Glad you found what you wanted.
Thanks! It's not perfect, but it fit my budget great. Everything mechanical works, we're taking it with us when we leave for Kentucky on Wednesday afternoon. Quick oil change, grabbed a spare belt, and gotta mount a cooler it'll be good to go!

Plus, I got it cheap enough I have plenty of upgrade $$ left over...Lol

Well I took the Jeep to Drummond this past weekend...Absolute riot. By the time we were done I snapped the yoke off the rear axle, broke all 4 front axle shafts, ripped the fuel tank out, and broke the fuel line. Everything worked out perfectly and I dropped it off at the new owners place on the way home.

The rzr is also working out great. It's got a couple hundred miles on it in the last 3 weeks. We took it to Rush for the U4 race and pre ran 4-5 laps around the course, 3 days later loaded it up and went up north to Black Lake for some trail riding the day before heading to Drummond with it. No complaints yet. I've got a bunch of Rugged Radio's stuff inbound for it and we're building a new cage hopefully in the next couple weeks. Memorial day we're headed to Houghton Lake / St. Helen area to do some riding for hopefully 4 days.

Lol. I told myself if I was going to drop that much cash on a toy it was going to get used. Plus, the wife loves it. My buddies and I hop on bikes and she rips the rzr around. We all use the ride command app and with the group ride feature she can see where we're at so we can go ride 50" trails, and she just rides ORV trails until we meet up again then all go from there.

For the record everyone, it's at my house :ROFLMAO:

Let me know if you need parts once I do some reverse engineering for some aftermarket stuff #hijackthisthread

Well...I ordered a chassis gusset kit, and suspension mounts gusset kit, a dual rate spring kit for my shocks, pumper, radio and intercom mounts, and picked up some tubing to make a new roll cage this weekend. Maybe this thing isn't going to stay "as is" for as long as I originally thought....Lol. Wheels showed up last week, hopefully tires will show up this week or next. After the Mickey's show up, my next upgrade will probably have to be the front diff and axle shafts.
