So you don't trust the roll cage but you want to jump it? I don't think you understand how this works.

He said jump not roll...duhh...

And I was more going for taking it to the dunes not necessarily the jump part...jumping it would be a bad plan.

I'm very blunt about this without apology because SAFETY comes first. IMO, a roll cage is about #2 on a list after someone lifts their rig and installs bigger tires. Anyone who wants to go offroad with the "it won't happen to me" mentality is a fool. Too many people have issues where least expected including me. The one and only time I have been totally over on my lid was on virtually flat ground at zero mph.

Shit happens. Don't wait and wish you had.

A simple stream crossing

How many of these have we seen at the dunes when someone was "only" going to jump it a little?

Well I wasn't being serious about actually jumping that thing

I agree safety is #1 priority. I was making a reference to the Napoleon Dynamite movie when they're discussing the mountain bike and he asks about taking it off some sweet jumps. None the less it would make a sweet little dune cruiser.

What weekend is Applefest? I think I might be up there then as well

I'd put $5 on that thing not even making it past the entrance

Saw this a few years back. This Camry driven by a couple guys from the Middle East got stuck on the drive in but made it up entrance hill and spent the whole afternoon cruising the flats. Said they take cars everywhere all the time back home. If a Camry can make it I have no qualms about a bronco...

It could no problem. It gets around great, I was driving it around yesterday. It's go no issues with the get up and go I just have to mess with the hubs to get the 4x4 to consistently engage. Once that's fixed I see zero issues with it getting around in the dunes.

That's OK. It doesn't hurt to get the awareness reminder brought up from time to time.

I wasn't being serious about jumping it either, I picked up on Lukes reference to Napoleon.

I agree with @whiterhino that it would be a huge safety issue and freak accidents can happen

I've seen what happens to the vehicles you drive. My bet stands
