Oh I gotcha. I have bought shocks from truck and van in the past, but only because I needed them that day. They are quite a bit more expensive than finding them online

Really? Ok. I've only bought used stuff from them and they gave me a sweet deal. I'll look around

One nice thing about being buddies with the product designer at JCR is when he gives you bumpers. I've now got a mauler deluxe thanks to Anthony

Also for anyone interested, my entire old JCR set up is for sale. Front, rear, and tire carrier.

No major updates just small stuff. Have a guy coming tomorrow to get my rear bumper and tire carrier so I've been getting started on designing a frame chop rear bumper. Heading to the dunes Wednesday the 20th for work so that's my only real deadline for getting new bump stops/pads.

Thanks buddy lol version 2.0 of the bumps/shock will debut in hopefully a couple weeks but by the end of summer I'd like to be long arm in the front and have coilovers. I already have mounts drawn up, just a matter of money for building new links and buying co's

Well my garage is now wired for 220v for my new welder and plumbed with 150psi from my new air compressor I put in the basement. Got my Jeep back on the road last night, new front bumper is all installed along with the winch. Haven't made a lot of progress with designing my new bumper, I've been pretty damn busy at work.

Also, finally figured out the other day why I was having such issues welding my front truss at work...Someone put a 100% argon bottle on the MIG welder instead of a C25. I swapped bottles out and now it welds like a dream, too bad I didn't realize that when I was working on my axle. Even though the welds aren't the prettiest they have great penetration and no porosity so we'll see how they hold up.

Uhhhh, I lost it.
Well there's your answer...lol

So I finally got around to messing with some stuff on the bottom side of my Jeep...number 79234 why I need more bump stop, my front yoke hits my motor mount on the driver side at full stuff. Oops. Also, my oil pan skid plate got stuffed into my oil pan putting a slight dent in it...But not bad. Just going to make a new skid and add a shit ton more gussets to avoid that issue again.

Probably going to the Hudsonville 4x4 fest this weekend since I've gotta work on Saturday, I'll run over for a few hours in the morning while my machine is shutting down. I've got a few other small things left to do before I hit actual trails again but for right now it's still drive able on the street no problem which a great feeling
