Finally got my truss on. I tied from my upper on my 3 link all the way over to my driver side coil bucket. Tonight I'm planning on relocating my driver side lower mount over about two inches, boxing in both lower mounts, welding on gussets, modifying my passenger side coil bucket so my Jeep sits level and possible tossing on some shock mounts.

I also picked up a set of flat top knuckles today for $70 but I need to modify them a little bit so those will go on at a later date. Right now I'm just trying to get ready for the race this weekend.

Also, I've been doing a little bit of research into adding one of those neat steering stabilizers that have the hoses coming out of them...

Got some work done last night. Boxed in mounts, relocated driver side lower mount on to the housing, and welded up my gussets. Just have to put them on tonight and figure out my shock mounts. Hoping to have the Jeep rolling again tomorrow night.

Driver side lower

Rev 2 of my c gussets fit much better.

This is how I originally had it in the calculator...I just never mounted it half on the housing because I wasn't paying attention when I did it and just butted it up without measuring. This is why I rubbed my tire on the arm turning left and why that side kept hitting my shock mount. Now both my lowers are equal distance from center, the way I originally had it layed out

Well I had a great time at the race this past Saturday. Unfortunately I placed fifth but at least I was able to finish after flopping on my side. Also found out I really need more bump stop than what I currently have but that has always been in the back of my mind.

I got my quick release fire extinguisher mounts back from the laser last week too and it turned out great. You bend it for the diameter roll cage and fire extinguisher you have then weld everything up. Quick release with a single pull pin. If anyone is interested in one let me know, I've already sold one to @Toyfish

I was gonna leave that detail out because it's running and driving just fine now haha all I needed was to toss a new belt on and thread a plug in where the hose was for my oil pressure gage

Lol that's good! Now u just need some taller bump stops to keep the shocks from bottoming out and smashing your crank pulley lol

Minor detail lol and it only kissed the crank pulley, no noticeable damage that I saw. But yea the shocks thing is getting old, hopefully picking up new ones this week at truck and van specialties in Zeeland
