87 YJ running 35's

Let's say you had a scout d44 with drums and a explorer 8.8 with disks. Both open.

If you run the d44, you have to regear it and put a locker in.

If you run the 8.8 you have to do a locker in it, and regrear the front d30.

What one would you do? Any why?

Explorer 8.8, just because it already has disks and shares the YJ D30 bolt pattern.
yeah, is it a TJ/XJ 44P?

If not, then the 8.8 simply for the matching bolt pattern and the discs. Although, ZJ d35 disc brakes work well on XJ 44's for ~$200.

44, I think the 8.8 hangs lower and has C-Clips??? you could be real hardcorz and do a 44a like me :tonka: then, when you see Kevin from Jeeperz Creeperz he just looks at you and sighs. Really tho, I'd do the 44.

Yeah, I say 8.8 also because of the mounting bolt pattern. Otherwise, I am a big 44 fan :d:

The only bad part is that the 8.8 is in a complete vehicle and I need to part out and get rid of the vehicle.

The 44 is sitting in my garage.

Put the 44 in place of the 8.8, sell it to some unsuspecting newb on Craigslist? :thumb:
