I'm looking for a 700r4 automatic trans (and transfer case if available) 4x4 with the GM Metric bolt patten that would bolt to a 2.8L V6 in a early S-10.

i have trans and transfercase from a 91 s10 blazer behind a 4.3 pm me
Sorry but it has to be from a 2.8L v6 not the 4.3. The 2.8L uses the GM metric bell housing bolt pattern which is different from the 4.3 / sbc bell housing.

I believe the 2.8L was used in 4x4 s-10 between 1982-88

If I remember correctly the 2.5 had the same bellhousing bolt pattern and the 2.8 was used all the way up into the early 90's

I know the 2.5 was the same bellhousing but I didn't think the put it in a 4x4 truck....


4cyl yj and xj and 2.8 xj' trans will work for you too
I hadn't thought of the yj or xj. What transmissions did jeep use? Was it a 700r4 or a jeep trans?

I would need a jeep for my app. but you could use either. The jeep isnt a OD trans like the r4

Still looking for a GM 2.5L or 2.8L 700r4, metric bellhousing transmission. I don't care if it is 2wd or 4wd trans, mainly looking for a case.

Probably because he doesn't want to add a clutch pedal.:sonicjay:
It already has a clutch pedal I am removing.:poke: I'm lazy and don't want to manually shift.





If anyone wants I have a complete AX-15 & t-case for sale....
