I need to find the trans first but I will keep you in mind on the transfer case.I have a transfer case that worked great. 75. obo
Sorry but it has to be from a 2.8L v6 not the 4.3. The 2.8L uses the GM metric bell housing bolt pattern which is different from the 4.3 / sbc bell housing.i have trans and transfercase from a 91 s10 blazer behind a 4.3 pm me
I know the 2.5 was the same bellhousing but I didn't think the put it in a 4x4 truck....If I remember correctly the 2.5 had the same bellhousing bolt pattern and the 2.8 was used all the way up into the early 90's
I hadn't thought of the yj or xj. What transmissions did jeep use? Was it a 700r4 or a jeep trans?4cyl yj and xj and 2.8 xj' trans will work for you too
I would need a jeep for my app. but you could use either. The jeep isnt a OD trans like the r4I know the 2.5 was the same bellhousing but I didn't think the put it in a 4x4 truck....

Yes they did. rare but they did.I know the 2.5 was the same bellhousing but I didn't think the put it in a 4x4 truck....
That's my luck. Hopefully someone else on here has another one to give away. I think 99% of these transmissions have already gone to scrap....a guy on here just gave one away a few months ago.
why not go with the t5 manual?
i know somebody like that:sonicjay:Probably because he doesn't want to add a clutch pedal.:sonicjay:
It already has a clutch pedal I am removing.Probably because he doesn't want to add a clutch pedal.:sonicjay:
No I don't. The ax-15 I have was behind a 4.0L in a 99 Cherokee.Do u have a 2.8l to ax15 bell housing??
