Since craigslist thinks I'm a spammer, this is about all the hope I have for finding a trans.

99+ 2wd 4L80e with the top bellhousing bolt hole.

07+ 2wd or 4wd 6L80 or 6L90

$200-700 depending on condition.... I'd prefer oem built units in whatever condition they are in. It will be getting rebuilt with high performance parts.

"Comments: AT,6.2L,72991 NEEDS BELLHOUSING"

I inquired about that one a while ago and the bellhousing is cracked. So, nearly a grand for something that needs to be torn down and repaired is not kosher. The bellhousing has the pump built into it so it isnt just a 4L60 style swap.... it's a serious R&R. I made them a reasonable offer for it and they still think it's worth a grand. The funny thing is you can go buy a trans assembly from GM for about $1800.... which is less than what a lot of businesses think they are worth. The same applies to aluminum gen 4 blocks, brand new with unquestionable quality and you're into it for $1300. But buy a used one that needs machining and they are going for $700+

Anyways, I'm picking up a 6L80 in a few hours. I'm still looking for a 2wd unit to save me time but for the right price a 4wd unit is an option.

$250 (damaged) to $750 is the newly adjusted budget.

A 99+ 4L80 is still on the list but not very high.
