Jeep doesn’t and won’t make a Grand Comanche, so I’m considering a new GMC Canyon. I like the interior and ride of my Grand Cherokee, the box and versatility/maneuverability of my Comanche, and the gas mileage of my Buick. As far as towing, the Canyon is rated at 7000lbs. I’ll have my ‘83 Chevy Crew Cab to handle the heavy towing.
The 3.6 V6 is rated at 302 hp and has a MPG rating of 17/24.
They will be offering a diesel next year.
90% of the design work that I have been doing is for GM vehicles. Most of my pay has been coming indirectly from GM.
I haven’t driven one yet, but I sat in one last week.
Anybody hear anything bad about them yet?
