2006 Dodge Ram - front calipers won't engage?

Ok guys need some help...I can't figure out what the heck is going on.

changed the front pads on my 2006 dodge ram, done them 100 times without any problems. The calipers will not engage, all i have rite now is back brakes (not very safe for driving)

I went and took them back apart to see what if anything was keeping them from engaging and can't seem to find any problems.

Anyone have this experience before?

Truck is 2006 dodge Ram quad cab, 4.7 liter v8, 215,000

Also, there is brake fluid to the required level and the brake lines have not been touched so I don't think bleeding will do anything.

Crack the bleed screw and press the brake pedal. See if you're squirting fluid. If you are, you know your master cylinder and lines are good. If your pistons aren't moving, perhaps when you pushed them back into the caliper they are now seized or cocked sideways in there. If you have a high enough pressure air compressor, you can remove the bleeder screw and blow air in there to hopefully push the pistons out. Put a piece of wood or something else in the caliper to catch the pistons so you don't shoot them all the way out of the caliper.

If you aren't getting fluid out of the caliper, you could have some crud or something else blocking the lines from pushing fluid back up. Keep moving up the lines to check if you are getting any fluid pressure when hitting the brake pedal. You may just need a brake fluid flush.

Try cracking the line at the caliper and see if you get more than a dribble. If you don't get more than a dribble crack the line at the master cylinder and check again. If you get good pressure I would bet the hoses to the calipers are bad. If not you probably have a master cylinder problem.

got a little fluid when I cracked the front connection to the caliper (closest to the front of the truck) when i cracked the rear connection to the caliper I go nothing (closest to the cab of the truck)

So, my guess is the master cylinder, can someone please agree with me or give me better guidance...(sorry, I'm so pathetic, but i'm slowly losing my confidence with this) UGH!

If you had someone putting pressure on the brake peddle while you did this and there was brake fluid in the master cylinder. I would say you have a problem with the master cylinder. Might try bleeding the master cylinder first to see if it will pressurize. If it wont it probably needs a rebuild or replacement.
