It would not be all that cost effective,the long side would have to be cut down about 4" or his springs would have to be outboarded.The unit bearings could be turned down and drilled to a 5 lug pattern but they have 130K on them and he would have to come up with a brake set up.If he is serious,I do have a ford axle that I could cut down and convert to 5 lug with the 4.10 gears for $1200 or less.Have him get a hold of me.
2004 Dana 60
I have a dana 60 from a 2004 Superduty.It is complete including tierods,tracbar,and warn lockouts.The axle joints need replaced and 1 of the rotors is bad,calipers are still good.I would say the balljoints are still good as they were changed 60K ago with greasable moog joints.It has 3.73 gears with an open diff.$650 located in Traverse,could possibly help with delivery.Price dropped to $500.Can deliver to Manistee area for free in a couple weeks.
