My neighbor's garage caught fire and damaged my new GMC Jimmy and my fathers 1971 MG Midget. My truck only has liability insurance and the MG was in storage until he could afford a transmission for it so it wasn't insured. It gets better than this. My dad was a month behind on his homeowners insurance so our carport that got damaged as-well is not covered. Here are some pics.

how did the fire start?
Were not sure yet but she liked to burn paperwork in a can on her porch for some reason. I'm thinking she thought it was out and tossed it in the garbage and it caught.

i do cuz our 60 foot long 30 foot wide pole barn burned down cuz the farmer we let rent the back half of it stored hay in a part of it and proceeded to weld a tractor next to the hay and we lost all our tools prob about 10 grand worth of tools and 4 vehicles and a rotorty lift and insurance said since it was also used as farm storage they wouldn't cover it under a garage think how pissed we were

There not sure what caused it yet but I am pretty sure it had something to do with her burning that paper. I'm not pissed about the insurance, I'm pissed because her stupidity is what most likely started the fire. My truck was insured but only liability because that's all I can afford but the things that were not insured were all my dad's things.

Wouldnt their home owners cover damages caused by their house fire?
I'm not sure how that works but my dad is looking into it. Everything except the GMC that was damaged was my dad's stuff so he is the one taking care of that.

some people just make u want to hit them with a stick :fish: :poke:
I think I'd wanna hit the neighbor with more than a stick after that lame of a fire. At least if it burnt down in the crossfire of an epic Transformers battle I might be a little more cool with it, but that shit is lame. Burning paper? Really? Ever heard of a paper shredder, scissors, rocks, anything?

Maybe after hearing this sad story I'll quit burning my lawn down instead of mowing it. Maybe I'll stop using a lighter to shave my face too.

I was outside with my friend earlier and shes all like "I'm just gonna take the money and move." She was already moving out this Tuesday so it's kinda coincidental that this accident happened 2 days before she was due to move. I'm not accusing her of anything but it's a little suspicious if you ask me.
