i have a 7.5 inch rear axle for a 1997 ranger with rear wheel abs... it has 3.73's in it and worked perfect before removal...i replaced it with an explorer 8.8 rear end to beef it up for a v8..this axle has drum brakes and the e brake didnt work...$40

I can vouch for that, I helped him do the swap. It worked fine before pulled but an upgrade is never a bad idea.

id be real intrested in knowing for sure. i could even pull it some time, i dont mind. my truck is running 3.73 already and a 7.5 in good working order with a LSD would make for a real quick and esay upgrade.

axle has been sold
