Starting to work on the up pipes, the passengers side manifold was pretty crusty, I was debating changing it or just sandblasting and Cerakoting it. When I removed the up pipes, it made my mind up for me lol.

I'll run to the junkyard today and get another from a bus I know is there.

New head obtained.. Now to ponder how much effort to put into this.

I'm of a mind to pull both, do springs and seals, Cerakote them and the manifolds, and make it beautiful.
I think that's the right way to go...

Typically I just throw shit together like a caveman because I think it's funny.

However, I do have the ability to do powder and ceramic coatings at the shop, and it is the shop truck... So I'll probably pull both of my heads and do all the fancy shit.

In order to get to the head I have to swap out for the rust hole... SMH...

I have to pull the accessory bracket, easiest to do that with the radiator and core support gone.

Of course, the core support and everything bolted to it are absolute garbage, but one thing at a time I guess.

Spent the weekend taking the old head off, found some more of the 4,000.00 worth of repairs the shop I bought it from did for the previous owner.

18 dollar stud puller made short work of the remaining studs.

Size difference between stock and SD is pretty significant.

Working on a newer, nicer version of my gantry that's actually tall enough to get the cab on the frame and wide enough to put my trailer or truck under.

Couple 10' 4x4's and a 2,000 lb ATV winch and I'm in this new version for about 150 bucks.

Will have the cab setting on the chassis this weekend, but not in place pending how I decide to proceed with the heads, and if I can find the time to mill these manifolds.

I happened by a scrap bin today that had a sizable chunk of hex stock in it, so i checked, and it was 1.5"

The OBS banjo bolt is 1-20 NPT.

So I milled and tapped it to be 1-20 on one side, and 3/8 NPT on the other.

This should allow me to feed the stock lines with whatever electric pump I chose.

Idk if I'm actually going to do an Efuel setup, but I know I'm definitely not going to pay what the kits cost lol.
