I've owned this since October 2005 and known the kid who had it the year before that. I've done pretty much all the work to it. I'm asking $3500 but i'm open to offers. No low balls as this vehicle is in great shape for its age and no where near a rust bucket like most are. This Jeep is very reliable and has never left me stranded in the past 3+ years
Specs:
4.0 Engine (has valve sound I've come across on a lot of 4.0s - put 50k on it with no issues so far)
4x4 - 242 transfer Case
Leather
Power Everything
Auto-dim Rear Mirror
Sun/Moon Roof
Power Driver/Passenger Seats
Auto Headlights
30" General Grabber AT2 All Terrain Tires
ProComp MX6 Adjustable Shocks
2.5" Old-Man EMU Spring Kit
Pretty clean paint and body - some rust starting under a couple of the doors and the rear lift gate. Interior has normal wear.
- Has pretty much every thing the Limited did minus the 5.2 and heated seats.
MANY replaced parts:
Oil changed every 3k/Been serviced at the Ford Dealer lately due to time constraints - always get compliments from them on its cleanliness and how the tranny shifts/fluid looks.
New Cat/Muffler - Early 07 (have the receipt still somewhere)
New Front Hubs/U-Joints - Fall 07
New Exhaust Manifold - Winter 08 (Stock one on the 4.0 cracked, common failure).
Shocks/Springs/Tires - March 08 (Less than 15k on them now - Have bills from the parts I ordered as well)
New Rotors/Pads - March 08
Professional Alignment - March 08
New door pins in the front - April 08
New Fluid in Front & Rear Diff/Transfer Case - Spring 08 (have receipt too laying around)
New Battery - Summer 08
Aux Lighting - Summer 08
Gatorback V-Belt - Summer 08
Front Passenger Brake Caliper Replaced/Brake Fluid Drained and Replaced - Fall 08
New plugs and wires (cap/rotor replaced 2 years prior) - Nov 08
New Water Pump/Thermostat/Cooling System Flush - Dec 08
New Key FOB - Jan 09
Haven't done much as of lately.
There are probably a few more things, but I can't think of them at the moment.
Now the Bad: There are a few small cracks in the drivers side door panel arm rest where the previous owner pushed their elbow into. The steering wheel is starting to show wear as well - the leather on the top part is wearing off and cracked open. I also have the front ds out currently since it became a spare for a friend on the trail last Spring - just too busy to get a new one currently. I'm also missing the fuse cover for the engine bay - I've never actually had it, along with one of the rear head rests. Normal wet seals you'd expect. Rear tail light is also broken/krylon on bumper is scratched because I got bumped by a truck at work.
This Jeep is 100% reliable. I use it to go back and forth from to DC/MI once a month and commute to work with it in DC every day. It's never given me a problem what so ever.
Looking for a couple different vehicles here to change up what I've got now.
Will also consider trades + cash from me towards a newer grand cherokee, trucks, etc. Looking to get a pick up truck (diesel a huge plus), V8 WJ or newer grand cherokee, or possibly another SUV along the same size or slightly larger.
Thanks for looking.
