1990 GMC Sierra ¾ ton

Basic Info:
• TBI 350 with 68,XXX actual miles
• 700R4 transmission with about 6000 miles on rebuild
• NP241 transfer case out of 1991 blazer
• Body has 243,XXX miles on it but has been repainted about 5 years ago

Custom work:
• Solid axle swap
• 4” lift built into brackets
• 6” front lift springs
• Dana 44 front axle with 4.10 gears
• 14 bolt rear axle with 4.10 gears
• Shackle flip in the rear (nice ride, great flex and about 4.5 of lift)

Rims and Tires:
• set of (4) 39.5”x15”x16” Super Swamper STS tires (65% tread) mounted on 16”x10” Xtreme alloy series 1089 wheels

Other aftermarket parts:
• 3” body lift
• Cowl hood
• Headers
• Dual batteries
• Cold air intake
• Chrome valve covers
• CD player
• Fender flares
• Bed liner
• Hitch built into the front lift brackets
• Exhaust is aftermarket it does have mufflers and isn’t too loud but is noticeable

New Parts:
• Starter
• Pitman arm
• Front shocks
• Oil change
• Spark plugs
• Rear u-joint
• 160* thermostat

Known issues:
• Needs shift linkage for transfer case
• Some rust on rockers and around wheel wells (fender flares are covering the slight rust around wheel wells)
• Body has some light scratches from off road use but nothing too major.
• Clear coat is chipping off the hood in some spots
• Drivers side front wheel bearing and u-joint needs to be replaced (will be done soon)

The truck is not a show truck but does still look great and turns heads everywhere it goes. It does need some work but nothing major. The truck has been great to me, I have owned it since April of 2008. I have driven it daily since the day I bought it. It has been use off road but is always maintained and has never let me down.

i have put a lot of time and money into this truck recently and i have now put it back on the road with plates and insurance on it and it also holds a certin sentimental value to me. also a recent trade offer has fell through. so now am really only interested in a trade for a 1999 or newer chevy/gmc truck (1/2 or 3/4 ton with the 5.3 or 6.0) no other trades will be considered, since i have to put a price i will sell for a cash price of $8000 FIRM

*TRADE PENDING*

I thought that style truck came from the factory with a NP241C. Why the swap? Was the old one junk?

he switched to a pass side drop 241 instead of the factory driver drop 241
he switched to a pass side drop 241 instead of the factory driver drop 241
that is correct it was switched to a passenger side drop to match the chevy front axle
i like the car. if you are willing to throw in the price difference in cash ($2000 the way it sits or $1000 with the 33" tires on it) i would love to work out a trade

why is that ????
ithe new motor has 68xxx actual miles so i wanted a motor that i knew would be good for the next owner and solve the issue of it starting hard as stated in the original post.
the motor is in and i broke the starter in the process so it will have a nice new starter too!! the window is currently getting fixed and the fender flares will be installed today. i should have the rust-free tailgate on it sometime this week.
