I want to use suspension seats in my build.
They really buffer the bumps leading to less back pain and a overall better feel when driving.
The seat is bolted to the floor then has 2 limiting straps on each side holding it from being inflated higher then it should be. The belt mechanism is a...
I am a OTR truck driver working on a local contract in Fultonville, NY for who knows how long. I am saving up to buy a house outright while getting all the parts and tools around to build this rig once I am in that house.
I plan doing this in stages.
Work on design
The kind of wheeling I mainly do is in my grandfathers woods. He has a series of quad trails that run over steep hills. It is just big enough to fit a jeep down with a little rubbing here and there.
The biggest problem/thrill is when the rig begins to slide down the steep hill due to leaves...
Yj hard top I used it to cover my cj-5 until I got a hard top for the cj. I have no use for it. It is light grey with white inside. $200 open to trades.
Does not have rear wiper option.
Rear handle does not release work on drivers side.
Has rear defrost.
No cracks has good glass...
Good YJ windshield frame. The glass is cracked on pass/drivers side so will need to be replaced. Red with grey visors. Typical rust, very useable.
Will have pictures later.

Going in the scrap pile Thursday.
A while back I was looking for a way to provide oil to the engine at extreme angles. It involved a pump and a lot of other complicated parts that simply would not work.
Got to thinking about it again this morning and tossed out all the complicated junk.
Excuse the bad sketch.
What I needed...
Pictures tell a lot about this.
The following "book" should answer a lot of questions.
This started out as a restoration. I found this jeep up around Lowell with a good frame and near completely stock...
I am designing a street legal buggy turns out to pass the inspection I do need a parking break:ffs:. I was not planning on having one just a micro lock that would hold giving me enough time to hook up a winch or restart the truck. Regarding the parking break the description in the statue reads...
So I have a cast sm465 bell housing at the house now.
A rebuilt 465 transmission/dana18 transfer case(bolted together in one piece with the 4 sticks on the side) is currently in route and should arrive the 19th.
I have a 2 bolt 350 that should be delivered the 19th also.
I will be home the...

We have a nice original 1966 Bronco Roadster for sale!! This Bronco happens to be an early production 66 complete with eyebrow grill and steel fresh air box. This is a numbers matching U13. The frame VIN and warranty tag both match the title. This roadster is extremely complete, no need to...
In the pile of parts I currently have is a cast 465 bell housing that will be mounted I have a rebuilt 465 that is been adapted to a Dana 18 (from Herm)with all bells and whistles.
I plan on using a stock or very mildly built 350 and converting it to propane.
The reason I am using a 350 is...
I am getting more pieces around for this build and need to start thinking about the the propane tanks. I want to run 3 tanks.
I plan on running 2 at once and using the 3rd in reserve to get my butt home or to a refilling station.
I can buy them used but don't really know jack about the DOT...
Folks tell me "no more cars unless I buy them myself"(ie I need to sell some junk before I can buy more junk).
Seems like a great deal(or a scam).

Anyone ever used one? I am only considering it cause it would get rid of any cable that would catch, bind, or break.
I will using a 90 degree under dash mc/clutch setup like this one (need to check for engine clearance before ordering) and having the portioning valve next to the steering wheel...
This will be gone before I can get it so might as well toss it out to you all.
i have a 1966 ford f-100 4x4. the truck has a 4.9l straight 6 (everyone says the best motor ford ever made) a 4 speed manual transmission with a granny gear...
It is claimed to be a non-stick, super hard, ice shedding coating. The stuff is expensive at between $190-$220 a gallon depending on the type. But, as something that can be painted on where uhmwpe can not be used (like a tube frame or rims)it seems like a great fix.
I am just curious why I...
Been looking at various cages and how they perform in rolls taking account for the weight. I really like the cage from trentfab my old design is very loosely based upon it. But, they have a support across the center of the windshield. Is there any way I could possibly make this support removable...
