Default How many project rigs do you have

After seeing a few posts, builds etc, most of us ADD folks have more projects than money/time/remaining brain cells/significant others etc. list them off with descrips, let’s hear them. Why not
Me:
Wife’s 1976 Chevy c20 summer driver: just swapped in a full roller 396 big block, wrecked the th350 upon install, didn’t have anything better so it got a 2wd sm465, some day it’ll get a tremec t56

85 Monte Carlo as, was a hardtop, chopped the roof of and burned in a t-top roof off a grand national, full float 9” rear dropped coils and spindles, converting to a stick, planned on my alumn headed 350, but wife stole that for early bronco project, now getting single turbo 427 bbc.

1985 Chevy cucv 1 1/4 ton military truck, in process of getting a 6” lift, h1’s and 37’s, going to be summer DD while my norm DD goes under the knife. I Have a 24v Cummins and g56 6speed for eventual swap

My kids 1986 m1009 k5 blazer. (He’s 10) last winter we swapped in a set of m1008, 456 geared tons, 52” springs info the front, 56” rears, x over steering, his mom gave him her 39” boggers (cause she wants 42’s for her bronco now). Hopefully we’ll get the h1s on it yet this year. The 6.2 and th400s gotta go but he’s having fun beating it in the woods behind our house as it is. We started building a nice healthy sbc and have a 465/205 for it, he’s still too short for 3 pedals

Wife’s early bronco, 1968 ford bronco, aka project broncho, cause it’s a dirty little biatch. 1968 ford bronco, swapping in full gm driveline (cause that’s what I have lots of) 450+hp alumn head sbc , hydro sm465/205, chev cucv 4.56 (prolly swap in 513’s) d60 ft, d70 rear, going to be linked f&r, and a sheet load of tube. She wants 42’s on it, hopefully starting next winter

Me: 1973 Chevy 2wd shortbed stepside, Cheyenne super. Got it when I was 14, DD’d it in summers, it’s been in frame up resto mode for 8+years.....basically I stripped it and then it sits. Dropped 5” ft, 4 rear. Plans: linked 9” rear, twin turbo 496 tall deck bbc, 5speed tremec trans

Your up NEXT!

1997 Jeep Wrangler:

Finishing up a basically firewall forward rebuild. New frame section, ford 9" front axle, full hydro steering, 4 link etc...

1949 Jeep Willys Pickup

On going restoration turned resto mod with a built LS, 4l60e, np208. 3 link front with coilovers and a dana 44. Ford 9" rear with a tentative plan of leafs.

1985 four winns liberator

Interior currently torn out to reupholster. Motor should probably get a tune up and manifolds should be pulled and cleaned. Swim platform and sun deck need to be re made.

1977 Slickcraft sx 176

Too many problems to deal with and will probably let it sit under my lean too for a longgggg time.

JHF buggy, 1975 Wagoneer, 2016 RZR XP Turbo

The Wagoneer has been in a holding pattern for a while. I stole the drivetrain out of it to race TREC years ago. It had been sitting and waiting for what's next. Would like to make it Michigan capable wheeler again, something I can hop in during any season and go for a ride.

RZR is stock. I use it to get out while working on the buggy. My youngest daughter loves driving it, so I use it as a way to get out to the woods with her.

1993 Lumina with 47,000 miles on it. In the process of converting it to a Euro and looking into a 3400 or 3500 swap with OBD II.

Still just one.

My 96 chevy that's been sitting in my garage with no box for the past...5 months? Still gotta figure out if i want to do a full frame swap, or just repair what I can on the frame now. Frame swap would be the best bet, but $$$ to have someone do it.

My Winter DD/Joy Ride toy is my 99 TJ

1995 GMC C150 (Soon to be mt Sons First truck)
Sitting with a 2/4" drop and has a good amount of sheet metal repair. Its Ugle as shit but my Kid likes it and thing its cool

1994 Chevy S10. Ext Cab 2wd 4.3l with a Manual. Had it since I was 16 and I plan to restore it and drop either my mildly built 350 I have or Drop a 6.0L I have into it.

1989 VW Vanagon Syncro (4WD). Has a major wiring issue and will not start sometime or will die well driving. Plan to do a Ecotec swap into it one day. This thing is just a real cool old set up and hard to find.

My son has 2001 Grand AM GT he and I are fixing up. Need a mew Engine install and it came with it witch was a huge plus. He is doing all this so he can sell and put the money into drives ED classes and into the mt old truck. I paid $500 for it and hes hoping to get around $2000 to $2500 for it. Will see. He has to pay me back so

1968 Chevy van, 454 and a saginaw 3 speed, 4L80E waiting to go in, working on conveerting to disc brakes

1965 Chevy van, swapped in a Pontiac OHC 6 from a 67 Tempest and a TH200R4. Needs to be wired and fired.

1983 Chevy van, backdating appearance to a 77 with rear doors and grille. Building a 10.25:1 4 bolt 350 to go in there

1976 Valiant 4 door. It was my son's car, need front floors and some suspension work. Swapping axle to get rid of the 4" bolt circle in favor of 4 1/2" and disc brakes. May turbo the slant six.

1989 GMC K2500. It's just a rusty plow truck, but I may replace the rusted sheetmetal.

1977 Yamaha XS500 bobber project. Hardtailed, just need to sort out controls.

In weird way, i like to see people that have projects that are years in the making.

I think it's cool to have something for a long time, even if it's 20 years, makes it all the more satisfying when it's done (if ever lol).

Kind of why I keep my POS chevy. It's nothing special. It's not rust free ( ), it's just a 96 chevy with some odds and ends i've added or done over the years. But it's my first truck i bought on my own, and I'd like to have it for a good long time. Always thought it'd be cool to drive with my kids in it

You've had a girlfriend for the last 20 years? She must be pretty patient to still be a GF after that long.
