Got her back to the shop. Undecided if I'm gonna tear it apart today, might start plucking a few things off it.

Anybody need anything? I'm keeping the trans and tcase

Yup, going home. Threw it on the snow bank and called it a day. I'll tear it down when the snow bank melts.

Anybody want a 2.8l for cheap?

S10 ended up having a 4.3 in it. I didn't ask enough questions or look close enough at it. I'll pull the wrong bolt pattern 700r4 & 231c from it so I can convert this transmission over.

Been talking to the guys at ZZP a little bit, just doing some planning, asking around and scrounging up more parts. Thanks to Unclebeaner I got sunpro gauges for this to start at little cost. Not sure if they'll end up in the rig or not. Also picked up an ammo can for the center console, and more for storage. Had some good ideas for intake routing, and general ideas for planning and execution.

Once my boat gets off my plate, I'll move onto this (and a few other small projects I have lingering.

Yeah, I figured I'd like that route more over the isuzu rear I also had. I'd have to regear both anyways. Disc brake swap is cheap too

I had both and ended up with the waggy rear too. the housing has more fins, weld on Chevy brakes run are cheap with weld on brackets shafts are probably easier to find plus the sale money of the Isuzu lol

FYI 88+ ifs Chevy rotors fit the center hub of my rear axle perfect

Those are all star weld on brackets and standard Chevy/jeep calipers but the caliper and pads are clearances to sit down on the rotor farther for wheel clearance

S/C 3.8 has always been in the future for mine one day... But it's so damn reliable it may never happen.
