The camper is done. Didn't get beat up too bad on it. Will have some pictures in a bit.

The camper is finished. Everything looks good, they were able to pull the sag out of the passenger side also. I myself have a little list of things to do on it. Planning on sheeting the top of the slide with aluminum. That way if it snows or ices on the slide I can run a broom over it without worrying about tearing it up.

This was the worst side and had the most sag.

The floor was looking pretty rough before. Everything is flat and tight now.

You can see the seam where they cut the fiberglass and reattached it.

Sure glad that its done, can finally quit worrying about it being ready in time. It wasn't cheap, in fact Ive bought a 2000 F350 4x4 hand shaker Powerstroke with a 28ft gooseneck for the same price as the repair.

Well, time to get things back on track. Just picked up the camper this morning. Everything looks good, new roof, all the rot/wet replaced, beefed up the front end and floor. Definitely not a simple task or anything I would ever want to do, especially re-laminating the fiberglass. Turns out the factory roof was starting to leak in a couple of areas anyways. Glad it was all replaced, let the snow fly now! Total repair cost was $5,888 and they gave me a little deal. Time to get the truck finished and the camper mounted and loaded. Time is a tickin'

Been hard at it lately, going down the list checking shit off.

The flat bed is getting closer and closer.

Coming out pretty straight and flat.

Hide a hitch

13ft from the front of the service bed to the hitch. Camper is 10ft, and need about 3ft to clear the trailer. Should work out good.

Wasnt sure what to do with the exhaust so I just started cutting up and welding the old one back together. It may look a little on the rough side but will work out good when it is fully welded. The exhaust clears all the air lines by about 8inches. Routing the exhaust all the way to the rear was the only way to do it so the camper wont get smoked out.

Around $16-20,000 depending on what options you get.

Ive got the bed about 95% done now. All that is left is the finish welding and working the radius of the fenders a little more. Planning on running an 8 or 9" strip of diamond plate along the bottom side of the service bed to tie everything together.

Gotta love when the welds are visible and you cant screw them up.

Passenger fender and stairs.

Driver's fender and tire clearance.

The tires will be tucked into the fenders a good amount when the truck is loaded down. Everything should clear good and the fenders will help keep tire spray off of the camper, and protect it if there is a blow out.

In the end, what do you suppose this pig is going to weigh?

im curious.

if you have that superduty. what do you need the f700 for.

just get a nice bumper pull trailer to put your toy/toys on... that superduty is way more nice to drive than that f700...

I believe the f450 pooperduty is his fathers. With all that weight on the 700 it might ride ok-ish.

The F450 is my old mans, him and my mom tow a 51ft horse trailer. Me and my wife will be using the F700 with a 24ft stock trailer. Instead of buying a horse trailer with living quarters we decided to build a truck with removable living quarters and tow a 24ft gooseneck that can be pulled by either truck depending on the application. If I ever want to go wheeling I can tow a gooseneck or bumper pull with my rig on it, have all my tools in the F700 and have the camper on or off. Or if I want to go on any expedition style adventures I can bob tail the truck with just the camper.

Got about a week to finish this pig. Exhaust is done, passenger side is just about done. Still have a list before the camper can be mounted. It will get done though.

The exhaust was a pain in the ass, but I like how it turned out. It clears everything with no problem. Show a little chrome ya know. :smokin:
