The more side work I do, the more it feels like a job. I've been putting off my projects to help other people out, and I always feel great about doing it, but I miss having time for myself.

I did sneak in some work for my kids last week, painted their golf cart, put some new tires on it and added a rear seat. It's summer time, they needs their get around ride to look nice!

Exactly...sounds like the right time to ease up and take care of yourself. Do it!

I missed the cage work on that. Nice job! All the new additions look great to!

I'm thinking that time is coming! I bought a camper last summer with the intent of less work more fun, but I keep telling people I'll work on their stuff lol. I really do enjoy it, but I could use some me time.

Thanks, I can't leave anything alone

Any yes, the tires are beefy, little bit wider than I expected, but it still runs good down the road, clocked 24mph the other night... Think I need to pump those numbers up!

Added a new 13 bolt Motobilt rear diff cover, seems like a a nice piece for the cost.

Then I decided to open up the rear coilovers, adjusted the valve stack to a flutter stack, hopefully it'll not ride as rough. First picture what it was, next is what I changed it to. I'll keep it updated on what happens next. Thinking a swaybar of some sort will be in the works.

Turned in another 1" of preload to the get some more ride height too, see if I like it or hate it, have about 8" up travel in the rear, 6" in the front. Also did some trimming so I don't get tire rub anymore. I still plan on building some wheel tubs in the rear, and fixing to floor up front, it's seen better days.

After that, I decided to cut the front fender tube off and put the fenders on. Never really liked the tube work up there, made it look to bulky. I'm happy with it now I think, just not sure I like the white paint yet. I plan on getting it street friendly and if like it to look at street friendly as it can to save hassle. I'm sure I'll get hassled lol

Going to rocks and valleys in a couple weeks, see if it works better.

Thanks, I agree. I always planned on putting the fenders back in, just never liked the idea of cutting them up to fit the tube work I didn't like.

Anyone have a set of doors they'd like to sell? I'd like to get a better set for it

I'd be interested in a wheeling day depending on when.

Wheeled it again, the shocks worked much better after the valve adjustment. Did everything I wanted it to, pretty happy with the build.

Did end the day with carnage, but not bad. Hit a hydo fitting on a rock and cracked it, lost steering. Then used the winch to help steer and broke the cable. Interesting recovery getting a 2 spot trailer out to the long crawl.

New problem is now the water pump is leaking, time to replace that.

After that, time to repair the rusted out floor and put in better seats and harnesses.
