Default Ford 8.8 Ring and pinion setup

It's been over a decade since I've done a ring and pinion setup. I'm working on an f150 8.8. I swapped the open carrier for an LSD and I'm installing 4.10 gears. I think I've got things pretty close. The backlash is on the tight side of the spec @ .008". Here are the patterns that I'm getting. The first picture is drive side, the second is coast.

I just did my 8.8 last weekend. .008 is what I was shooting for. The pattern on the drive side looks a bit shallow and maybe the pinion is too far forward?
