*SOLD* FS/FT: 1998 Chevy S-10 2WD lowered 5-Spd
Ok so I am looking to get rid of my truck, I have an Accord (blah) now that does the same on gas, but is better in the winter.
The truck has been in the family since about '04 when my brother bought it. Was originally pewter in color, is now single stage black after spending too long flat black.
It has had the bench seat swapped for blazer buckets, a Monsoon stereo out of a trans am installed (came from the factory without one - still no radio stations as it has no antenna either.) The truck is lowered 3/3 with coils up front and blocks in the rear, the kit has been on for about 4 years now. Used to bottom out but the bumpstop brackets have been ground off the frame, and it hasn't hit even on large bumps since.
It also comes with a set of mismatched factory wheels (3 Sonoma, 1 S10) as well as the 1989 Camaro Iroc 15s that are on there now.
Also has a soft tonneau and a new weld on roll pan that will come with it:
The current roll pan is a factory GM part that is a little bent. The new one is a Sir Michaels all steel replacement. Along with those, I have a set of weld in cab corners laying around here too, also included. Pretty sure I have stock turn signals as well as the clear set. The lower front bumper is an earlier model S10 piece my brother and i bolted on, I just like the smoother look it has. Also replaced the dumbo side view mirrors with older sport mirrors, which actually hugely helps the amount of wind hitting you in the face with the windows down, which is all the time (No A/C) ;)
It has also had the doors replaced after it was scraped up in a parking lot, the owner between my brother and I replaced the doors with 97 doors which bolt right on, but the interior handle is in a different spot, so the interior panels do not have the trim piece around the handle at the moment for this to work. The bed is also not stock, the stock one was traded off at some point. This one is in decent shape, the truck has its share of dents and dings throughout, its a daily driver.
The rear glass is less than a year old, the truck has had a new clutch master cylinder installed, the headgasket replaced, and the water pump and timing belt changed out within the last year as well.
I can try and get more recent pics as well, though at the moment it is covered in snow. These pics were taken in September of 2010, and I haven't changed the truck at all.
All told it is a reliable daily that has about 130k on it, some recent work, and just needs a new owner.
It is a 5-speed manual trans 2.2L I-4 RWD.
I am looking to sell this beast for $2,200 obo OR trade for something 4wd (must run good) OR trade for another motorcycle (The gf will be pissed, so I prefer this one) ;)
