9/4/18: Show Jeep mode engaged (post 75)

Hi everyone, this is my first thread. I'm 13 and just got my first jeep!!

The jeep is a 1984 Jeep CJ7, disassembled inline 6 and 4 speed. The jeep is in pretty rough condition and needs a lot of work. Along with repairs, build plans include:

Ford kingpin 60
Shaved 14b
3 link front
4 link rear
Chevy 5.3l
Built 4L60E
Atlas II
H2 wheels
37 Cooper STT Pros

All loaded up and ready to go home!!

What was left of the engine had to go to make room for a v8!

And had to get the grill back on to make me feel good

Looked almost ready to fire... what a waste.

But on a serious note, if you ever want to get rid of those tires, let me know.

I've been thinking really hard about this, but I can not part with these tires. :)

Had a great day in the barn today working on the Jeep. Gutted the engine bay, pulled the wiring harness, pulled the fenders and grill, and pulled the transmission and transfer case.

Disappointed to find that we have a T4 and not a T176 transmission, if anybody knows of a T176 for sale, please let me know

We knew the frame was rough but it's a lot worst than we thought, we've been scouting decent used frames and we've decided to build a frame instead. We are thinking 2x4 3/16.

Very cool. My first ride was a red 83 CJ7, although mine was a 4 cylinder and also had a T-4 transmission.

Today, once again, we had a very productive day in the barn. Got the shocks off, took off the body armor, took out the steering column, and took off the body and everything that had to go to get it off the frame.

The tub is in way better condition than we thought I would be in. All it really needs is a clean up and new floors all around.

Just because the body is off, doesn't mean I am not going to daydream about driving it and attempt it.

Default Project Heep CJ7

Well, we solved problem of the unexpected T4 transmission!! Made a little road trip last week and grabbed this little gem.

It is an SM465 and NP205

We also cleaned and sorted parts for storage until we need them.

Lastly, we moved the tub outside to start stripping the frame.
