Default 2018 Silverado Chevrolet Radiator fans won't turn off

Figured I'd post in case someone is searching to fix their problem.

I came in to work today and the radiator fans on my truck would not turn off unless the key was turned into the starter position.

Still under warranty, so they found that there was a spot in the wiring harness that rubbed through the insulation and caused a short between two wires that was triggering the fan relays.

Explains why my drive in to work seemed cold this morning.

This seems to be a common thing on that era of Chevy trucks. Seen a few issues on the Colorado's too.
