So we all know that injected manifolds have the center two bolts vertical, and older manifolds have angled bolts right?
I've read about guys machining an older intake to fit the newer vertical bolts. But what about just not using them at all? Is this a thing? Do people do this? The multiport style manifolds don't even have them. They just use the bolts on the front and back. The center ones were eliminated. Will it be a problem if I just stick an older manifold on a newer engine and just run the eight outer bolts?
