Who are you getting to be an instructor? I know it's not you

Silver lining: at least it's not a restaurant.

Good luck to you.

My wife. She is perfect for instructing a newbie like you.

Good luck man! Business ownership isn't easy at all, but being constantly broke and hoping you get paid builds character i guess...

Thanks.
As far as owning my own business, not new to me. Iíve had a couple in the past. We are hoping this will transition into a decent part time retirement gig.

That would be pretty cool! Get to do one of the things you love, and get paid for it. Sounds like a dream. I really hope it all works out for you

With the stupid shit I see on the roads everyday and the lack of common sense among drivers just trying to commute I cant imagine how difficult it would be to try to instruct metrosexual suburbanites on a beginner course. I expect you will spend half your time trying to herd the kittens and the other half arguing with students that fukc up there shit and are blaming you for them not listening to your instruction. I do hope I am wrong but you might want to hire a high school kid to be your cameraman to video document your classes and start up a you-tube channel for a side hustle.

That’s funny Bob.

Our classes are set up in a manner that will hopefully mitigate those problems. No more than 5 vehicles per session. No more than 2 drivers per vehicle. No kids. No dogs.
Each class session starts with a classroom powerpoint covering safety, hand signals, terminology, do’s & don’ts, etc.

Don’t want to take it serious, I will refund your money and you can leave now.

I believe we can be professional while still making it fun. My classes will not be a “hold my beer” format.

Now the idea of video and youtube might still be a good one because we all know some people just can’t listen.

How alike is your instruction compared to the GLFWDA 4x4 Awareness course?

Not even close. I am an awareness instructor also and part of my vision is based on some of the things I don't like about the awareness program. Not dissing it at all, as it's a good, proven program. I just want to do things my way.

As an example, the awareness program teaches large groups in the standard format. My program will be 100% based on each person or group. (no more than 5 vehicles in a group) There will be a pre-screening of each client (or group representative) and although the formats will follow a lesson plan, each session will be focused on "your" wants and needs.
Beginner? we have a plan
Mid level? we have a plan
Want to focus on technical crawling? we can do that

Each of the above will be based on you and your vehicle......... not a generic plan. I actually formed the company in 2014. We have been working on our unique format for 6 years.

Make sense?

I think it's good stuff man, and I think you are the perfect person to make this a very successful and fun endeavor.

I look back like 24 years ago when I got my first truck and my stupidity trying to use it in 4WD. Lucy I'm alive, between that truck, then a Jeep, then another truck, then 4 more Jeeps (one rolled) LOL I think I'm a little smarter by now but I know I could have used your instruction long time ago.
