Default Totaled 4runner build

So I picked up a totaled 98 4runner Limited with locker for a pretty good deal. Decided I'm starting a fab shop, so I'll be building bumpers, sliders, once I have a bender an exo, and a few hundred other things, ending up with a family camper that can wheel with the best of em. It'll be a very slow build, not rich, and we just had a son 11/18/17, and have a 2.5 yr old. So until the wife recovers more from the c-section, I won't be doing much of anything.
So here's my now twice totaled truck. This is after repairing a great deal of damage...(I hit a deer, and keep good insurance on my vehicles, and insurance said it was totaled, huh...) Oh, and I kept removing this bumper to test the bumper I was building, and would just tack this one on with some scrap metal. Well one time, it wasn't tacked so well, and I ran it over. It survived, though even more mangled than it was, but the signals did not survive. Being cheap and thrifty, I stole the signals from my dual sport and threw them on...

Also didn't like the factory hitch location, too low, and too far back. Here's stock

Also ditched the spare, not even sure how it's supposed to go down, would've been useless had I needed it anyway. Plus my rear bumper will have a mount once I build that.

And here's my first bumper build. Learned many valuable lessons, but that's what life's about!

Did some gussets in the back, thinking more wouldn't be a bad idea, but I dunno what the norm is, just making it up as I go...

Nearly final test fit

Mounted and painted.

Need to finish welding Corey's Customs across the front, or flap wheel it off, and just do it on the next bumper...

I'm about to grind the welds, thought under coating would spray thicket like bed liner, and it'd add texture, and then the welds wouldn't stand out so much. And ultimately, with being torn between grinding them, or leaving them, I can grind them anytime, what I can't do is have them once ground...

Just had a newborn son 11/18, so I won't be able to do a whole hell of a lot on it for a while, with the wife recovering from the c-section, and the 2.5 yr old daddy's girl, it's going to be a little while before I have much free time.

i can see them. Use chrome as your browser and follow the fix @whiterhino posted a while ago and they show up.

On another note i would grind all the welds down so it looks like a formed bumper. Looks like poop with all the welds visible like they are. Hitch relocation turned out nice though

It's because you have to keep updating to the newest fix for the hot links. About once a month you should be looking for new extensions because pb is actively finding new ways to block them.
Firefox browser on your android and an extension to fix the hot links so you can see pb pics on your mobile is another way to view them.

Finally figured it out. Tried Imgur, no go, obviously no more photobucket. Finally got to sit down again, and setup Flickr. A few experiments later, there should be pictures!

Let me know if somehow you still don't see em.

Getting ready to make a $50 snorkel, just need to source a hole saw, ~3-3.5". Can't really afford the hole saw right now, course I can't really afford the rest of the snorkel, but I could make it happen, and my wife is incredibly supportive! She's nearly as determined Corey's Customs will become a thing as I am lol.

Finished grinding the welds today! What do you think? Still just sprayed with undercoating, but that'll keep it from rusting until it gets whatever coating it ends up with...
