People go to Canada for prescriptions because our drugs are too expensive. Big pharma has congress in their pockets.

There is always money to be made if you have skills and or know how to hustle. Unless things get bad enough that money has no value, then you had better have skills and a location to survive from.

I don't know how anyone can take anything Trump says seriously anymore. After the whole "King of Israel" and "second coming" comment. Ok so he says he was joking, but then he starts talking about buying Greenland, which we all assumed he was joking about, but then cancels a planned state visit with Denmark because they refuse to even discuss the idea?

At that point I figured his presidency had "jumped the shark", and now just shake my head over his stupidity. Like the whole hurricane hitting Alabama think. All he needed to do what say "I stand corrected, Alabama is no longer in danger". But instead we get 4 days of his non-stop whining about how the media made him look bad. Maybe if he'd quit posting stupid shit on Twitter, maybe the media wouldn't have so much to work with.

I'm almost hoping for a recession in the next year to kill his chances of re-election, but them we might get stuck with some crazy Democrat. If we do I'm kinda hoping Biden wins, because it will be funny to hear his stupid gaffes, and I don't think he'll actually be able to get anything accomplished.

All of this makes me really sad. You hope our economy tanks. You hope we get a dunderhead in the White House because it would be funny.

For all your talk of world peace, helping the needy, etc, this is what you wish for? This is what is wrong with our country. People talk like they want solutions but in the end they want to see the guy they don't like fail. Sad.

It is a sad state of affairs we find ourselves in. I'm just wondering aloud if a quick recession and a "dunderhead" president might be better in the long run than a second term of Trump. Who knows how far off the rails he might go.

You are right about him joking about being the annionted one. No other president has had the balls to stand up to China and Trump has. In a joking manner he mentioned it.
As for the buying Greenland, I heard it was one of his aids mentioned it and trump had said maybe we could look into it. The media caught wind of it and made a big deal about it. Greenland PM heard it and insulted Trump in so many words and Trump said well maybe we should cancel our meeting if you don't want to talk. Other presidents in the past have made offers to buy Greenland so this is nothing new. But Trump brings it up and now its big time news. This is nothing more than the media attempting to make trump look like a fool.

The original forecast and prediction about the direction of the hurricane was going directly over florida and hitting Alabama. That is the one trump mentioned in his interview. Then the storm changed paths but the media continued on his first original post and would not let it go. Trump then defended himself in their lies and attack.
The media has an agenda and it is to destroy trump and make him look bad hoping that the people will turn away from him and support one of the crazy dems that want to open the borders and raise your taxes.

I'm almost hoping for a recession in the next year to kill his chances of re-election, but them we might get stuck with some crazy Democrat. Liberals hate Trump with such a passion that they/you hope the country fails and people lose jobs and homes and go to the government for assiatance. To proud to admit Trump policies are helping working Americans. The numbers don't lie but and the media does.

This is why I haven't been posting much here. Nothing either one of us says will ever change the others mind about Trump.

So how does that work if Biden picks Whitmer to be his VP?
Do we get a special election?

So what do the Trump supporters here think about this;

https://www.yahoo.com/news/trump-cri...192117129.html

I'm certain that if Obama had planed on negotiating with the Taliban the conservatives would have gone crazy, but Trump seems to be getting a free pass on this.

I can say I don't understand it. It would be nice to hear an unbiased explanation.

If trump would have negotiated with them he would have negotiated through strength not weakness as Obama did with Iran. Obama gave them the farm plus pallets loads of cash.
