I buy the material off eBay (Mt. Clemons, mi) I think his eBay is metalmerchant

Then I have Metro fab drill and tap them. He did my lower links on the buggy to. But the buggy links aren't polished

Do you think they are over $100 per link? 7075? And what size, 2.25?

I just want to do my lowers.

I bought 2 60" pieces, shipped for $230. That made all my rear links (2 28"/2 32"). Then whatever drill/tap costs.

The frame is the bigger issue. Tub is small potatoes. But I'll be getting creative on the frame clearance.
Yeah being an LJ the mounts probably aren't as far forward. Mine don't run quite that whole length but close. It was easier and cleaner to just box all the way to the hump in the floor pan so I went that route.

What do you have to clearance in the frame? The underside? With 2.25 links I had to clearance for LCAs front and rear at full bump. Different mounts will obviously change that, mine are tucked fairly high compared to the frame.

With how low I'm shooting for ride height, the lower links go right under the frame. I'll post a pic tomorrow when I install the new links.

So do mine, and mine is pretty low. Mine only needed to be clearanced 1/4" or so, but again being an LJ could be a game changer. Your LCA mounts look 1/4-1/2" lower than mine so maybe you'll be ok.....maybe.

I need to get the other side tacked in and check again. But I am sure I'll have to clearance floor and frame.

You can only cut so much of the tub before you get into the wheel wells and with bigger tires (43s) you wont have that much uptravel. Ask me how I know

Trying to not make it tall. Adding bigger tirez will make everything worse lol. I already jumped from 37s to 40s.

My rear armor is supposed to be for 40" tires. Mtr barely fits lol.

I know you just bought the tires, I'm just trying to slow you down. You work fast
