Im leaning away from them now. They are an all terrain tire and im sure I will be dissapointed with them offroad. I did just figure out that 4 wheel parts is offering 10% off a set of 4 maxxis tires. A set of 4 35" treps will set me back $1200 shipped to my door

Tires showed up today!

Does anybody see an issue with me cutting a chunk out of the alternator bracket like in the picture? It would be worth almost 2" more of up travel and I could still use the bolt hole I would just have to get a shorter bolt

Yea. The only thing it's useful for is that bolt, and there is a bracket right next to it that mounts to the block as well. I just got done doing some measuring and if I eliminated that whole bottom piece and shifted my motor 1" to the passenger said, I could have 5" of up travel.

New tires did great last weekend at rocks a valleys! Only breakage was a lockout, but luckily I had a spare.

I blew another lockout and my drivers side inner shaft twisted in half. For anybody getting lockouts for a dana 44 I would not recommend the mile marker supremes, the aluminum in them is garbage. I will be ordering warn premiums and a new chromo inner shaft and hopefully have it ready for the dunes this weekend. My brother also flopped on nut check, we rolled him back over and he was good to go, no damage.

If it breaks, you can always go with a Wide Open Design or Goatbuilt bracket that moves the pump up. But I would say go for it.

Yup, thats what I figured. My original plan was the goatbuilt brackets but being a college student I try and save money everywhere I can and this was one of those spots. I did cut it already and so far it has survived both rocks and valleys and Bundy.

He's running the factory 4cyl radiator. Never had a problem over heating with the mechanical fan on the 5.3. Now that he switched to the electric fan I don't think he's had and issues either
