No, it's not. I wanted to make sure I could get it running before I started cleaning it up.

The wiring you see in the video is how it used to be minus wire loom. You can't see the stuff I cleaned up

Got a camaro shifter free today! Shifter was the last piece of the puzzle I needed to get it driving again

Just towed for the first time with my truck. Unfortunately it wasn't my jeep it was a buddies haha, but I hit 70 and could have taken my hands off the wheel it drove so straight. I was a little worried with the shorter wheel base I would have issues but that is no longer the case

Yea it worked fine. I had to have the gain turned all the way up to actually notice a big difference stopping though

Really? I only had it maybe halfway for my Jeep. Does the trailer have brakes on both axles? I could lock up the trailer brakes with Jeep on it if I turned it up all the way

Hmm weird. How new are the brakes? You can try my other controller if you want.

That is weird I run mine on 4 out of 10 any higher and it really wants to grab hard. I only have brakes on one axle but they are brand new

Camaro shifter didn't work, the cable is too short. I have a longer cable that I can use, I just don't know if I'll be able to adapt it to the camaro shifter assembly

I like my art carr/winters...

Always try a yrailblazer/envoy shifter. Maybe the cable would work with the Camaro setup?

The art carr was the way I was originally going to go until I got my hands on this camaro shifter. I'm not going to try and go crazy trying to make this shifter work so I might still end up getting the art carr. Thanks for the tip on the envoy cable!

I'm going to use it again this weekend to tow me jeep to my uncles to get it on the hoist and put the finishing touches on it. I'll mess with the brake controller a little bit more but it might be the brakes on the trailer need be be adjusted

Sometimes they just need to be used and will get better with use, but check the pads and wiring too.

I think they self adjust like a regular drum brake, when you back up and use the brakes
I could be wrong

I got the camaro shifter to work just fine with the other push pull cable I had but I'm really not happy with the way it turned out, we will see how long it lasts there
