Jeep harness. I've done LS swaps before and the stock vehicle harness to me is the worst part of the wiring process.

I'll double check when I get back to my jeep this weekend but I took everything but the temperature sender and oil pressure sender from the motor harness and then left everything else for gages and such

I got the stretch coil buckets and the first set of link brackets back from the laser cutter and welded them up.

I have been getting a lot of welding practice in lately from my senior design project

What do you think about that output shaft? 300m? I don't think so but I am not a metallurgist.

Looks surface hardened to me, if that. Those cracks at the splines are ugly.

I can understand the shear where it broke but the rest of it looks odd to me.

I have never seen a fracture like that before. If you look close there is cracks all around the shaft that line up with each spline

Any reason you chose upper frame side brackets with no adjustment?

The brackets are 2 5/8" wide and the heims are 2" so I do have some adjustment up and down but not much. My biggest thing was I could not get a good design made that would be strong enough and have adjustability to get the angle right back to the axle side. I got about 5" of separation and a ton of weld surface area on the frame so this is the way I decided to go
