Hello everyone,
New here, from SEMI looking for some wheeling advice, mostly where to go, regulations, etc. I recently purchased a Hummer H3. In a previous life I had a Jeep YJ and a Jeep TJ Rubicon. I’ve done a fair amount of wheeling and enjoyed it tremendously but had to get out of it during the recession and am just getting back into it. I’ll be visiting the Mounds soon.... I’m pretty clear on all the regulations except the safety flag. Is it required there? What is the preferred method of mounting? Sorry if those are dumb questions, I’ve never had to deal with safety flags before ![]() Any other advice for Michigan wheeling newbies is much appreciated. Thanks! The last time I was at the mounds, a flag wasn't required, but it's not a bad idea to have anyway. Lots of tight areas, and blind spots over hills. Not everyone pays as much attention as they should. Usually see the flags mounted to the front bumper, in areas that they are required. Not sure if that's just preferred, or regulated.
