Well, the motor I just put in is fawked. It knocks loud just turning the crank back and forth with pliers.

Time to grab the refreshed engine and look it over.

Got the transfer case and rear axle out of my parts samurai today.
16v is attached to the samurai trans without qn adapter plate. Had to cut and move the frame side passenger motor mount bracket to fit the motor

All my 1.3s needed a rebuild badly so I'm just gonna go for the big upgrade right off the bat. Why not right? Lol

Think that was the quicker way to go. You gonna chop the harness yourself, or buy one?

Chop it myself. The harnesses are expensive to get done. I don't know if anyone does the obd2 harness anyway.

So picked up more parts.
Got a locker, axle parts, another complete front axle and stuff thanks to @Red97
Made a basic list of what I need to do

I have some shit to get done. Luckily the parts samurai has come apart like butter even with how rusted it is.

Thats because you are kind of trying to "restore" a samurai. Just throw that shit together in a safe manor and go wheel it.

I just dont want it to end up half assed and breaking constantly.

So I've been trying to make it halfway decent.

I can't guarantee timeliness, but if you get that aluminum block "carb adapter" to me, I should be able to get it bored and turned. A print of how you want it would be good too.
