Changing out the aluminum wheels for steel, hopefully I don't have bad luck with the narrow wheel. Glad to dump the aluminum ones, and after getting them apart, they are very light weight, and probably only one aggressive climb from being broken.

Anyone have a good hookup on weld on beadlocks?

I ordered my DIY Beadlocks from TMI Customs (Total Metal Innovations). Not a local guy but looks like good quality stuff. Just need to get mine welded on.

Other benefit of the TMI beadlocks is that they don't destroy to inner bead. So if you wanted you could mount your tire like normal.

Thanks, that's probably the direction I'll be going.

New to murphy seats installed on the stock slides... Gotta keep them adjustable for my daughter.

Also got the new floor pan installed ish, I had the intention to do it properly, but I didn't feel like rebuilding the whole floor right now, so bolted it in for now. Much better than rust holes.

Then I found the cheapest light bar on Amazon, $31 and installed that above the windshield. Debating on taking the time to gaurd it because I'm sure I'll ruin it asap. Maybe I should order a spare while they are still cheap haha.

Next up is a harness bar and harnesses, oh and a different water pump, current one is leaking pretty good

Keep the battery box. It adds character.

Is this gonna be in Canada soon?

Haha, definitely fits the build

Yes, that's the plan as long as I don't break it too bad labor day weekend.

I'll be there next week to watch you, and brag about how you would lose if I raced.

Haha, I'm sure!

It's been so long since I raced, not sure I have the drive anymore... That or I don't want to break it lol

Side note, got a new water pump installed last night, thanks John for the parts, and the new Amazon special winch rope spooled up on what feels like the world's slowest winch.... That'll probably be one of the next upgrades

Another thing I'd like to figure out is the cam sensor code I have and to see if that's what causing a delayed start and backfire. From what I read, the ecu reads cam position from the sensor to determine the firing order on initial start up, which would explain the back fire I get sometimes. But otherwise it runs great and starts fine most of the time.

Added a harness bar into the cab, it's a little low, but it fit around the windows and seats good. I welded a couple 2 bolt flanges to to interior sheet metal, then bolted the flanges down using big washers, then hole sawed through the interior sheet metal and ran a bar across, leaving it sunk into the cab, then welded it to the flanges. This way it's bolted, welded and a mechanically locked into position, should be good enough for a trail rig.

I also cut the gates out of my shifter. With the gates in, it's a pain to go from first to reverse. Did this on my ranger and I liked it better

Still need to mess with the cam code, I was told to run a relearn on the sensor, just haven't gotten around to it.

Went racing at rocks and valleys, and I couldn't help myself and I gave it a beating. It did good until I took a bad bounce and got stuck feet from the finish line. Had to get pulled back then took another run at it and broke my driver's side front axle shaft. I would have tried to finish in 3 wheel drive, but I lost all brakes at the same time and decided to take a penalty and let Jamie finish. Turns out the master cylinder came unhooked from the brake pedal, easy fix.

New shaft is ordered, gonna do new balljoints at the same time.
