Default Titan Swapped Xterra Build

Im new to this forum so I figured Id start a thread for my rig! This is a Nissan Xterra with a Titan front suspension swap and 33s, which I installed a few months ago. Right now, Im sitting at about 4 lift in the front and 1.5 lift in the rear. This swap also increases the front track width 3 on both sides. I havent fully stretched its legs yet, but titan swaps tend to provide 12 of travel. Ill list all current modifications below:

Tires:
305/70r16 (33) Toyo Open Country A/T II

Front suspension (IFS):
*removed sway bars* (and still cruises down the highway at 85mph with no problems)
Radflo 2.0 Titan Swap Coilovers
w/ 600lb Eibach springs
SPC Titan Upper Control Arms
Stock Titan Lower Control Arms
Rugged Rocks Extended Axles
Extended stainless steel brake lines

Rear Supension (SA)
1.5 Spidertrax wheel spacers
1.5 lift shackles
Bilstein 5100 Shocks

This is an ongoing build, but new modifications dont happen frequently since Im in college right now lol.

P.S. Id like to find some people to trail with in the U.P./Marquette area.

All questions/comments welcome

Welcome aboard, nice looking trail rig. I'm going to do a up trip this summer. Thought about maybe the Munising area.

I've always liked those trucks. Looks good!

Tech has a 4WD club if you ever get up that way.

I came close to buying one of these a few years back.

Isn't there a year break with a steering gear or rack and pinion? Does the Titan suspension care which one it's on?

Never heard of a Nissan Titan swap.

I take the suspension frame mounts are the same between the two? Do you take the Titan front diff, or is it also the same diff?

@mtnbikinbryno,

Thanks! I'll definitely look into that since I'm frequently driving thru Houghton to ski Mt. Bohemia.

I kept the Xterra steering rack and all that, as do 99% of people who do the Titan Swap. But I have seen people pondering the idea of using the Titan steering rack which is doable.

I hope I answered your question!

@JohnnyJ,

Yes the frame mounts are the same.

Then you have the option to keep the same diff (R180) or swap it with the Titan diff (M205). I chose to keep the same diff, which I do regret a little bit because you have to rebuild the axle shafts with extended axles which forces the Xterra CV joints to sit at a downward angle.

Nice, was just up there a couple of weeks ago. Awesome (but weird) place. How do you like the hot tub bar?

my coworker has an exterra that is heavily modified including this swap. I never was a Nissan fan but the more I see of that thing the more they grow on me. Nice work.

Where are you located? Maybe I'll get him on here to check yours out

Thanks I've always wondered if there was another Xterra build in Michigan! Glad you reached out. I'm in Marquette but occasionally go downstate because I'm from Midland. Where are you guys at?

Interesting. Wonder if anybody will ever try this at something like KOH. Could be a cheap-ish way to make a capable IFS crawler/hauler.

yeah he has only lived in Mi for several years. Had a 2 year long overlanding trip all over North America with it so it's been around.

We are way down in Coldwater area near the Mi/Indiana state line
