I think this will be pretty close to the rear setup.

Plan to be working on either tearing Mary Jane down and/or working on the Kernel tomorrow afternoon/evening.

Made a truss

Got the rear four link all mocked in, pictures show approximately full droop to about 2" past bump, plan to put bump stops in tomorrow and check full flex then weld everything in.

Pretty happy with today, got some range time on the 22/45 lite and the p320, got some serious time in on my new grinder, and spent some much needed time in the workshop.

Can you get more separation on frame side? I think you will look like a monkey humping a football on climbs with that high of anti squat.

Are you referring to the lowers? I can't move that crossmember any further forward without making it impossible to remove the tcase

Currently sitting at about 18" separation, I'll check my models when i get back to work monday

I'd have to make a bracket, but those would be the easiest to move, I'll look into it. I had some rough guesses made up, so i just went tacking stuff in

What do you have as far as the original D41 rear axle? Anything left in your original parts pile that you want to sell?

I've got a 48 CJ2A I'm working on....

Would that be the same axle that is under my 49 jeep willys pickup? It's 2 halves that come together in the middle of the pig. I have never seen anything like it but I would be willing to sell the whole axle

Edit: nevermind my axle is a timken axle

been spending most of my time with the shop truck or boat this summer, finally decided to move my eBay stuff out of the way for now and do a little fab work.

Need to move the frame side links around yet, have the math figured out from initial mockup. Hoping to tackle most if not all of that tomorrow.

Mocked up a rim in the front due to some concerns, fits tight but beautifully.

Should suck the tires in about 2" around the whole vehicle, will look much better with plenty of turning clearance yet.

You have any? Been messing with Homelite chainsaws this summer. I have 4 more not in picture in the workshop, 3 chainsaws that are running in my shed, and 5 more already torn down and parting out currently.

Got the rear 4 link finished up, just need to add the cross bracing for the shock mounts. found a steal on dealer liquidation on 4-12" fox air shocks.

I have been slowly picking up some other odds and ends, and should have most everything to finish the cage and front suspension. I need to figure out what I'm doing on my steering box before i figure my track bar on the 3 link and get all of those bugs worked out. Looking like the shock tower and supercharger will protrude from the hood under an inch if I don't want to space it up. should look pretty cool and keep the overall look of the rig functional.

i also picked up an 88 rx7 to fix up for spring. Motor and trans might go to the other willys project and sell this rust free Cali car as a roller for a v8 swap... unless i really like the car or don't really care for the rotary.
