this is the cadilac of the 14 bolt shave kits
Thank you, I've been looking at it, and will be waiting until i 4 link the rear before I go that far with the shave. Not sure when that will happen, or if it will. My wife wants me to sell this truck. If I do,I will be building the gmc you can see in the background of the side view I took.

I see, they do have some very competitive pricing, but I'm pretty much done with that part, now it's test and tune, well as soon as I get the 14 bolt in that is. My kids are jonesing for some trail riding, so I need to get it done soon lol.

pics of the diff shave, welded tubes, and the chunk I cut off the bottom. We also welded a plate on the bottom for extra piece of mind, plus it over hangs the cover, so peel risk is low.

Axle installed, awaiting fluids and the d-shaft to be connected. The calipers hang pretty low, so we'll see how that turns out.

Yeah, I'm not real excited about it either, if I would have put the lines between the wheel and spring, it might have been more out of the way. For now it will work. I just need it drivable to replace my work truck until I can fix the axle on that.

You've been doing some nice stuff but if you plan to run any rocks that caliper and brake line won't survive.

I know lol, I'm only road driving it at the moment, just to get some of the bugs worked out, and make sure it isn't going to break immediately upon entering a trail. I've got to do the front gears to match the rears, so there is more to do. I'll keep up on it now that it's driving though. Took it for a20 mile trek tonight, and it did fine.

Unfortunately, no. The axle width is a little shorter than the stock axle, so the leaf spring will contact the caliper. I can go about 30 before hitting the spring though, so I'll go as high as I can.

Ok ok, you got me, I'm not getting a jeep, ever. For no other reason than I don't want to switch now, being that this is almost done, at least this phase anyway...
