Ball Joint eliminators

Still waiting for Dennys Driveshaft/Rockauto/anyone really, to get the stock 1550 shafts back in stock. Go figure im waiting for one of the few OEM parts in the front. In the meantime I need to send out the knuckles to get machined for High steer.

Had to cutoff the subrfame on the chassis and add 2 inches too it, tall person problems... To get a full fist+ clearance to the top of the cage I was too close for comfort to the transfer case.

"factory height"

Lower portions are .188 wall, original plan was to replicate what WOD did here
with bends on the ends. While my bender is rated for it the first gen Swag Offroad ram mount was not. Thankfully i was standing to side when it slipped in the mount. Guess there has been issues with the old version side loading the rams, blowing out the seals, and coming loose.

So after that I ended up going this route. Belly skid plate will prevent a rock from hanging up on that corner. Without the bends in the new subframe I also have more freedom to move the front and rear crossmembers fore/aft

Not thinking a buggy will ever be for me, unless i start racing ultra 4 or something
I love my full size, and agree that blazer is bad ass. How often do you take it out, and where too?

Thanks. It doesn't make it out as much as it should. As far as local stuff its normally Rocks and Valleys, the dunes, or Snofari. We did take a trip down to Tennessee last year and that was a lot of fun

Couple small updates. Built this mount to attach to the trans/tcase adapter. Going to hang them both from above.

Few seat bars later...

I have a full fist plus an inch above my head and over 2" from the bottom of my ass to transfer case. They say that is enough but i think i will end up putting Tempur Foam under there just incase. After lots of back and forth this seemed to be the happy medium.

That seems like a lot of weight and leverage hanging behind that mount, or is there one farther back on the t case I am missing?
