My baby brother is begging me to buy his '06 Honda 599 naked sport bike that he only put 50 miles on last year, and probably has less than 3k on it total.

PM'ed. I'm keeping it though. It has WAY more power than my old air cooled 250 Honda, so it should keep me entertained for quite a while. It is also supposed to get insanely good gas mileage. So my plan is to drive it whenever I don't need to use the truck or when it's too far to bicycle. :)

thanks for the chat. nice buy, enjoy it. and yeah, most bikes get very good mpg compared to a cage - but the little ones flat out embarrass the hybrids and hypermilers.

I jsut did my 600 mile oil change at 1000 miles

Also tipped it over in the driveway already so that cherry's popped

If it werent for commuting I wouldnt get much ride time in at all

The 1991 CR500, which is currently on the operating table, having the motor fitted into a 2000 CR250R chassis.

the 00 RC-51, mmmm v-twin goodness, custom map for the power commander, two brothers slip ons, smoked windscreen, polished frame, just took it back to stock gearing too.

I spent the last 3 days at Muskegon for Bike Time. Benn riding quite a bit this summer. Just did my 9000 mile oil change today.

I've been to busy riding to goto motorcycle events. Something about standing around talking to people takes away from the actual riding part.

Joe Luekeman,the young man killed by a Tanker Truck at the entrance to I-475. There will be a Bike/Car Show at Great Lakes Power Sports on July 24th from 10am-5pm to help the family with expenses, it's $5/bike $7/car. There'll be a bunch of stuff going on (food/contests/prizes/ect), and if anyone has anyone questions please contact Great Lakes Power Sports.

I need to get a motorcycle. Can't afford a Harley yet though. I've been thinking a Triumph Bonneville America or maybe some type of stripped-down bagger like a Road King equivalent, just to be different.
