Fiona the Samurai

New thread that isn't clogged up with bullshit.
Actually got some work done.

The plan is to just build it on the stock front/Geo rear for now and set it up pretty much the same as Scottie had it set up except with a 16v engine, power steering, and very slight differences in suspension. I plan on doing a basic cage and 4 point seatbelts too.

Got a new grill

Got doors and headlights
http://i1289.photobucket.com/albums/...psgitv2zen.jpg
Got the engine out of the Geohttp://i1289.photobucket.com/albums/...psikdmqdkg.jpg
And got a new front axle and trussed it.
Gonna work on getting the engine into the samurai frame tomorrow

Picking up material tomorrow. Working on getting stuff I need. I can't do much until I get the stock engine mount adapter bracket things.

Alex456123 April 25th, 2016 02:53 PM

So does anyone have a plasma cutter or band saw that could help me cut out some 1/4" plate?

You know I can't cut straight lines for shit.

Plus I don't have any cut off wheels, and I'm assuming it's gonna take a whole pack of them to cut all this out.
I should probably go pick some up. Lol

Mihlfeldl2005 April 25th, 2016 03:31 PM

Don't be a bitch Alex. I'm pulling the motor on the jeep tomorrow night, want to come hang out in the garage?

Alex456123 April 25th, 2016 03:33 PM

I vote we rename this build "The meballs build"

Alex456123 April 25th, 2016 04:12 PM

Whatever. I started cutting out brackets with some leftover cutting wheels I just found.

Of course my cuts aren't straight. Lol
What are ya gonna do though.
