Ok thanks.. I have a JK with only a 2 inch lift.. So I guess it will depend on the snow depth.. :thumb:
A lot depends on the trail and the trail conditions. As I stated my Friday night run will be fine for you. My intent is some tight wheeling but no real difficult stuff. Just a fun night in the woods. Even with deep snow, if you're further back in the pack it'll be packed for you by the time you get to it. Then you may contend with ice but that doesn't care what your lift and tire size is.

I'm game for your Friday night run! :woot:

Just put the 40" iroks back on cause the 44" boggers seemed to float to much with the small snow I have around the house. Depends how much snow we get to see what tire combo to run... Damn near got stuck on flat, packed slippery snow with the boggers.

Who's the trail leaders this year?
Me and flipper, er... I mean Danimal

We are two and a half weeks out. I'm not worried. It's fun with or without snow!
Exactly! We picked up a couple spots on our last pre run that might be too dangerous to even run with snow on them!!! I'll take the not so brave on the bypasses :teehee:

I can run tail on one. Wasn't able to help out as much as I wanted this year. Never/ wasn't able to pre-run any thing this year. Hopefully next year I can lead. I know my help will be needed more and more and am glad to help where I can.

You're welcome to join. I'll only be on 37 inch inch Rockers so you'll be good to go.

looks like we dont have to worry about the snow depth for the stockers, but maybe ice again. 50 degrees and rain this weekend, then a quick drop below freezing on monday.
Last year, we had basically no snow till a week before the event, then got a bout 15 inches in one storm, and another few a few days later. Of course, it warmed up and rained a bit the day or two before the event causing all that ice but we still had good snow. My Saturday run last year found snow in the 15 inch range that required every member of the run to winch even though the smallest tires were 35s and everyone was locked front and rear. Point is, depending on the trail even 6 inches of snow can be a challenge.

Night Run???? Need to get some better lighting!!!:woot:
We won't be running Baja so super bright lights aren't really needed. I'm a light nerd, but the reality is I don't have most of them on during the night run as the reflections off the trees and such just is too bright. Not to mention blinding the guy ahead of you.

Biggest thing most people seem to lack on the night run is warm enough clothing. Then again, a dumb co-driver can make the night run much better by allowing you stay in the rig with the heat on!
