What is your obsession with spelling and grammar? You obviously didn't use spell check when you posted this. And also, please find any spelling mistakes I have made here.

Also, just because you are up close in personal with one aspect of the issue, doesn't mean you can foresee the future. I don't claim to know everything about anything, but I know enough to know I don't want more government involvement in my daily life. I have heard countless stories of patients without insurance getting a certain procedure for lesser cost than the insured patient. The more corporation/government involvement with a thing like health care, the more the providers are going to take advantage of it. You can't tell me that there isn't a problem with more socialized health care. Ask a Canadian how much they like it?

Yea, let's go to socialized care so you have to wait years to get MRIs and other diagnostics like Canada....

I was just messing with you. There are a lot of idiots here, but in the same token there are a lot of people who are pretty damn knowledgeable in many aspects, especially politics. It is always good to have debates especially with other educated people because it sometimes shows you different ways to think on a subject which is always healthy for those looking to learn at least one thing a day.

I love when socialists start talking down to us "commoners" by using lots of big words. I wonder how you would do if you put down the thesaurus and finally, I just bet I could kick your butt.

Socialized medicine will provide more people care, and the quality will be decreased. It's the unfortunate result of doing so.

I'm sorry, but capitalism has to rule here. Because I work for a living, have benefits and have busted my ass to get here, I should now get the same care as a fucking illegal? Fuck that.

1) Have you added up how many civilian lives have been saved by overturning the Hussein regime?

2) I just finished a class for my masters degree entitled Healthcare Policymaking. The problem with Clinton's plan isn't the $$, but rather how (in)effective it will be.

The last threat from Iraq to the US was roughly 1981 and that was taken care of by the Jews when they bombed the Nuc Plant.

i talked to one of my canadian friends and they say the free health care sucks, because now, if someone sneezes, they just go to the hospital because it's free, thus creating longer lines and a waiting list for those who really need to be there

So the 500 tons of yellow cake that was recovered in Iraq wasn't a threat to anyone then? Shooting at US planes in the no fly zones wasn't an act of war? The 11 UN resolutions that Iraq defied didn't need to be enforced? The Nuclear scientist that had bomb plans buried in his backyard wasn't ever going to dig them up again? The chemical weapons stashes were for peaceful purposes? The mass graves were full of people who wanted to die? Using chemical weapons on your own population is just fine as long as it's not being used in the US?

They don't have oil Dummy!!

So, once we rebuild Iraq can we then rebuild our schools and aging infrastructure? I love that 25% of american bridges are on the verge of failing.

I'm sure keeping us safe from the Iraq's sure helped the people that died when the bridge in MN collapsed.

dummy, oil is the reason there was a problem in darfur in the first place. the refugee's were driven off land where they wanted to drill for oil.

Sure, it was a threat to lots of people in that region, was it a immediate threat to the US, NO.

Yeah, the materials are soooo easy to make, look how quick Iran is doing it. I'm sure you're right though, he'd have one in a matter of mintues after digging up his plans.

Not our immediate problem and I'm sure all those folks in Africa wanted to die as well . . . we are not there because they don't offer us OIL.

Yes, correct. I don't see us rushing off to Africa or China to fight a Human Rights war against them do we . . . why is that? Possibly something to do with OIL??? Hmmm..... lets think about it.

Oil ready to be exported and OIL in the ground without a system set up for exportation and a Booty load of crazy Africans are different situations. We don't want to get our hands dirty. We'll be back when they have it all set up for us to take because that's the current way.
