Default Air Bag Help Needed

I have a 2001 E250 that I need to disarm the passenger side air bag. Any ideas what I should do?

Cut the wires...

Doesn't it have it's own fuse? If so, pull it out.

You can unplug it, but the airbag light will come on.

You can pull fuses 38 and 19 and it will totally disable the airbag system.

You can check with a Ford dealer to see if they offer a deactivation switch like offered in other vehicles.

You can install a back seat

I would install a back seat if it wasnt a work van. Can I just put him on a milk crate and tie it down?

I thought about that. With my luck just the drivers side would go off and break my nose.

I just pulled the whole damn thing out.

If you do pull the fuse please make sure the ignition is off when you reinstall it. Trust me!
