Facepalm

Weekend demand? Jump in the futures a month ago? Anxious/nervous traders?

Seriously, either make changes, stand your ground, or stop bitchin

Note: Still not specifically directed at one person, rather the entire public complainers that follow the media.

I also believe a large portion of our problems is the instant media people are glued to. Without the instant media there would be FAR less knee jerk reactions to markets.

I can totally agree with that. Everyone's lives would be so much better if people paid less attention to the media.

The gas is no more over-priced than the cars the motor city is building that burns the gas. The whole auto industry and it's related industries like oil need to be cut in half.

Because federally mandated safely and emissions standards are stricter than ever. Seems like people also expect things considered options a few years ago to be included standard. Things such as power windows & door locks, A/C, decent radios, sound deadening, 16+" wheels.

thats fine, you get what you pay for. remember when you could order a truck with no radio, rubber floors, manual windows, no ac, etc...? even the most basic model of chevy 4x4 2500 ext cab long box is 39000.

This is why Ford lost 8 billion last quarter, right?

You guys really need to stay more up to speed on how business (especially automotive) works....
