Default Dash Brake light flickering.

Since I got this truck, the brake light on the dash always flickered when I was hitting large bumps or whatever. But its been progressing, and now the light is on all the time and since it started to do that, my battery keeps dying so I'm guessing it is grounding out.

I've been looking but I cant really find anything like broken wires or whatnot. Anyone have any idea as to what wired items included in the brake system could be doing this?

Did you try pushing in your parking brake handle? Thats what it is on mine...

Redo the wires to eliminate that switch..

lol, funny thing. I have no parking brake. I'm guessing those wires are tucked somewhere. I'll look it up in Haynes and see what I find out.

Well, found out what it was.

Brake fluid was low.

The way it was acting, I figured it was some kind of electrical short. At a glance the fluid looked full, but when I seen the wires going to it I took a look and seen it was actually at the minimum mark.

I'm hoping thats what was killing the battery, the sensor being open. But I'll have to wait and see.

If not, time to chase down all the grounds
