Default diesel welder

I am in the market for a diesel welder. I would prefer a miller, but a lincoln electric would be ok for the right price. I am willing to come pick it up asap for the right welder/price. I would prefer one that sits in the bed of a truck, but a trailer mounted one might be ok. lets see what you have.

What are you going to do with it? If you want a good welder that are now coming down in price the older lincoln pipliners with gassers in them weld great. I use one at work alot and i have not found any of the newer ones that weld any better. I have seen them go for as cheap as 1500.00 on a trailer. They are grey from the factory bu most have been repainted. They are big but im telling you they weld sweet.

I want it for when i get out of hobart, i have had several job offers in the oil field, and i would need my own welder for this. my grandpa and my uncle both have motor driven Lincolns, they are good welders with little lag on striking, even though they are Fricken huge. I will be using one this month to do some welding for my uncle. I was hoping for something more along the lines of a miller 304 with a diesel. If i don't find a decent used one i am going to buy A new one.
