They should be safe today since I won't be able to make the moose run today.

to Purple Rhino! Wasn't your fault, Donnie put the strap on the jeep I was there at 9:00 and the only one who showed up was Bradv, so him, Doc and Donnie are out on a short run just for something to do!!!

Good to hear you guys had a good time. I'm still scratching my head over this temperature guage thing. The code thing turned out to do nothing at all. We'll see you guys tomorrow Kari.

Thumbs down Gate and Stalling jeep

The wife and I decided to come up Sunday afternoon and take a ride/ look for the ring off my mirror. I may have been lost but I thought we with straight across at Long Lake and Bass Lake GPS shows a road BUT there was a gate a crossed it hate gates. Is that how we went

ALSO

The jeep is stalling a lot like at the gravel pit
But it run good down the road just don't have to stop
If it doesn't stall it idle good
check
distributor for water---- clean and dry
timing------- adjusted it a little and it ran some better but not all the time
air cleaner ------clean and dry

I'm thinking (planned up grade for next year )
Performance Distributors DUI Distributor in Blue for 72-90 Jeep CJ5, CJ6, CJ7, CJ8 Scrambler & Wrangler YJ with 232c.i. & 258c.i. 6 Cylinder Engine $379.99

http://www.quadratec.com/products/55102_601.htm

Weber 36 DGEC Carburetor for 72-90 Jeep® 4.2L I-6 Gasoline Engine $289.99

http://www.quadratec.com/products/51312_58_07.htm

I need to decide soon what I am doing want to run it to Copemish 16th

I got my cooling situation under control now...I thinkHad a lot of mud in my temp sending unit plug, cleaned that out and temp guage seems to be working fine now. Also installed my new fan and wired it up to a toggle inside. Should be good to go.
