go just west of mike and monicas cabins.( deer park grocery.) there is trails to the south that are awesome. if you go west on the seasonal road( it turns into that after deer park) there is alot of cool little trails from there to grand marie. take all the north 2 tracks along the lake through there.. there is a couple that put you right on the beach. make sure and hit wolfs inn and rainbow lodge....i have been down every trail in that section in the winter and summer. saw 4 bears there 2 years ago riding a quad in the trails. hit the bear farm on deer park road also if you have time.

i went summer 06 and got somewhat familarised with the area. We chose this area again because its between picture rocks and taquamin (no way can i spell it) falls. I thought it was crazy that coast guard lane had branches scrapin either side of my jeep and houses down it

Mike and Monica Brown are good people, knew them for years. They used to live in Alaska before moving to Michigan.

yep, there is a little camp ground behind it, right on the mouth of the river and lake superior.

THAT's funny, mine too!

I like to run the eastern edge of the Blind Sucker Flooding too.
There are some cool trails that bring you down to the waterfront.
