Default Brain Surgery is fun and not being able to Drive Sucks!

Well I am have been off the site for a over 3 weeks now. I went in on June 30th for a Pituitary Tumor to be removed and spent 9 days in the hospital recovering from the 2 surgeries I had to remove the tumor.

Was only supposed to be in there for 3 to4 days but I had complication and had to stay longer then orginaley plain. I have had a fresinf hop on a bump a few things for me and thats about it,

hope fully i can get me Jeep out here soon to some thing I am getting bored off me ass and not being able to drive due to the lose of some of my vision is pissing me off.

Well Iam off to take yet another nap and eat some food. i am just glad to back up and able to browse the site again

Good to hear you're doing ok. I have a pituitary adenoma as well, don't have to have surgery yet though. Was it causing symptoms?

A strange draw to 4x4 vehicles and little turbocharged cars.

I was put on medication to shrink the tumor. The meds were doing great and then it just did a 180 and they did a CT scan and found a growth on the tumor (The tumor was 4x smaller then when they first found it). I was one the people that the side effects happen to hit. 1 in 10,000 or something like that cant remember off the top of my head.

I have a friend that had the same thing removed - he said it was surreal how it felt going in for the surgery. No problems - just a funny (no) haircut for awhile.

Holy crap! Great to see you are logged in and adding to these forums.

However I am curious what was the complication? Mistaken the brain for the tumor perhaps?

I have about a 3 mm benign adenoma on my pituitary. It just blocks a hormone so I have to take medication. No vision issues yet, but I do get MRIs every two years.

I did have 2 good looking nurses.
One was 3 years older then me and damn fine.
The other was the same age as me and funny.

Mine was 3mm x 5mm when it was found. Mine was Giant abenoma. I guess any thing over 3mm is rare. I guess all I can say is I am damn glad its out. Just sucks ass that I cant see.
